We’re hiring a brand new business development executive role, on behalf of a super progressive tech business in Cardiff.
You’ll join a super collaborative and fun sales team, who sell consultancy services to business customers, in a full 360 sales role. You’ll be responsible for your own pipeline of business, from developing your own leads, prospecting and discovery, through to pitching and closing sales.
This role will suit someone with previous full cycle business to business sales experience, looking to progress their professional sales career within a global company, which offers a great culture, are passionate about their people, and give back to their local communities.

Position: Business Development Executive (Sales Consultant)
Salary: £30,800 pa plus monthly bonus (Realistic OTE £45k)
Location: Cardiff Hybrid (3 days per week in office – free parking on site)
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Contract: Permanent

So what does the Business Development Executive role involve?

Making outbound telesales calls, to a high volume of prospective customers

Taking a consultative approach to overcome any concerns and handling objections

Sending follow up emails to engage prospects

Carrying out product demos over Teams

Upselling and cross selling

Keeping customer records up to date utilising the CRM system

Managing your own sales pipeline

Working in a personal and team KPI and target driven sales environment

You have previous business to business telesales executive experience with the ability to overcome objections in a phone based sales consultant role

You have experience in full cycle sales from generating leads, prospecting, discovery, negotiation and closing.

You possess excellent telephone-based relationship management skills

You have strong attention to detail and are competent using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

You thrive in a pressurised, targeted sales environment, supporting other members of the team in a highly team orientated sales role
