Position: Claims Handler
Salary: Up to £20,000 pa
Location: Caerphilly
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent

So what does this claims handler role actually involve day to day?

Investigating commercial claims – identifying cover and making decision on validity of the claim
-
Liaising with customers to gain all the necessary information in order to help you with your decision making process

Taking ownership of the claim decision and delivering claim updates to the customer, ensuring the best possible service is delivered

Working with third parties and internal legal teams to progress the claim
So what experience do you need to be successful int his role?

Experience working in a busy insurance claims, legal or financial services role, where customer service is at the heart of what you do (ESSENTIAL)

Degree (or equivalent level qualification) in law (desirable)

Excellent attention to detail, with the natural ability to analyse complex information

A real passion for customer service and building strong customer relationships

·Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex legal and policy information in a clear and commercial manner
