Position: Commercial Claims Handler
Location: The company is based in Cardiff but open to applications from remote candidates across the UK for a fully remote working opportunity
Salary: up tp £21,000 pa depending on experience
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent

The job of a Commercial Claims Handler will involve the following main duties:
- Take ownership of your own caseload of commercial property insurance claims
- Ensure constant contact with all stakeholders to promote first class customer service.
- Dealing with your own claims from FNOL to settlement. A majority of the claims will be of varying value and complexity so you’ll have the skills and knowledge to settle (within your authority) or to pass the more complex cases on to other departments when necessary.
For your application to be successful for this Cardiff based Commercial Claims Handler role, your CV should demonstrate the following:
- Experience of dealing with commercial (or domestic) property damage claims
- Excellent communication skills with both Customers and Clients
- The ability to prioritise workload effectively
- The ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your own caseload of claims
- Proven experience of maintaining a close working relationship with customers, to promote customer satisfaction during all stages of the claim.
- Excellent keyboard and IT skills
- Progressing towards or intention to become Cert / Dip CII qualified
