Job Title: Customer Service Advisor (First Line Customer Support)
Salary: £23,500 pa + annual bonus of up to 5%
Hours: 37.5 hpw, Monday to Friday shifts between 8.00am and 6pm. (Occasional weekend work may be needed during peak seasonal times – which will be provided back in lieu)
Location: Talbot Green (free parking onsite) with hybrid working available (up to 2 days home working per week)
Start Date: 5th August 2024

As a Customer Service Advisor in this Front Line Customer Support position, your role will be pivotal in supporting existing customers with product queries. Key duties will include:
- Effectively handle, manage, resolve, and log customer contacts received through a range of customer support channels in a timely and professional manner.
- Take ownership, managing, investigating, resolving, and logging customer contacts and enquiries
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers throughout their contract lifetime.
- Work effectively as a team and autonomously
- Support customers with help requests, technical issues, complaints, suggestions, and praise received through a range of customer support channels
- Be able to communicate effectively and listen to a customer’s specific situation and needs
- Follow escalation procedures for technical and product development issues, liaising with internal and external partners
- Assist other areas of the Operations department when necessary due to demand
To be successful in this customer service advisor role you should be able to demonstrate the following experience on your CV:
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality or contact centre.
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to solve difficult or unexpected problems.
- Technical skills required with an aptitude in using software products of varying complexity.
- Ability to plan and carry out work on your own or as part of the team.
- Decision-making and bringing innovation to problem solving.
- Helpful and positive attitude in a busy environment
- Able to project a respectable and professional image.
- Ability to maintain a calm approach and work effectively under pressure.
- Communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
