Customer Support Administrator - Pontypool

Customer Support Administrator

Pontypool (Initially fully office based, moving to hybrid after training)

Pay – £13.45 per hour

Temporary – 3 months initially

Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week

 

 

If you’re an organised and detail-focused administrator / customer service professional, this is a great opportunity to join a well-established charity and support the team during a busy period. 

About You

  • Ideally have a current Enhanced DBS but not essential
  • Previous administration and/or data entry experience
  • Previous customer service experience and used to busy phone lines.
  • Strong IT skills, including confidence using databases, Microsoft Office, and email
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • A professional and friendly approach when dealing with enquiries
  • The ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines

 

What You’ll Be Doing (and the impact you’ll make)

  • Managing a shared inbox, responding to a high volume of email enquiries and telephone enquiries in a timely, professional and compassionate manner
  • Providing clear, accurate information to patients, parents and professionals regarding referrals, waiting lists, assessments and next steps
  • Using judgement to triage enquiries appropriately, resolving queries directly where possible and escalating or forwarding to the correct internal team when required
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records across internal systems, ensuring attention to detail at all times
  • Delivering a consistently high standard of written customer service, adapting tone and language to suit sensitive and sometimes emotive enquiries
  • Supporting patients and families throughout their journey by offering reassurance, clarity and a positive customer experience
  • Following internal processes and clinical guidelines to ensure compliant and consistent communication
