This organisation has just launched their new Values and undergoing significant change, so they are looking for someone who is keen to roll their sleeves up and get stuck into the exciting project!
Role: HR Business Partner
Contract: 3 months FTC (opportunity to apply for permanent)
Location: Flexible working for Newport-based organisation; team go into the office about once a month
Salary: £40,000 per year FTE
Hours: Full time preferred, part time considered
Start: ASAP
As a HR Business Partner, you will be part of the Leadership team, as the face of HR where you will play an active role in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction.
You will be responsible for:
- Coaching business leaders to improve team effectiveness and efficiencies, including assessing the organisation design on factors such as behaviours, attitudes, culture, systems and communication, feeding insights back into the HR team
- Engaging Business Leaders with workforce planning, talent identification and succession planning – including budget activities
- Leading and delivering change and restructuring programmes
- Creating HR management information to identify continuous improvement opportunities; ensuring leaders understand drivers of employee engagement and relationship between employee and business performance.
- Effectively managing the relationship with Trade Unions and the business

- Flexibility and creativity when it comes to solving complex business challenges and changing operational environments
- Great interpersonal skills: the ability to quickly win hearts and minds
- Ideally have worked in large, complex, unionised organisations
