HR & PAYROLL SYSTEMS MANAGER - PERMANENT - REMOTE WORKING - SALARY £50K
Are you an experienced HR & Payroll Systems Manager looking for a meaty new challenge that long term prospects and large scope?
I'm looking for an experienced HR Systems Manager, to join a global, manufacturing organisation in South Wales (working remotely!) to help drive a large, digital transformation programme.
The purpose of this role is to support the deployment of a new HR & Payroll solution, alongside BAU delivery and maintenance, and, the development and delivery of MI and reports to the Board.

As the HR and Payroll Systems Manager, you will be solely responsible for:
- Taking full ownership over the system; being first point of contact and super-user for all system related queries or issues
- Working with HR and Payroll teams to truly understand their processes and aid the design and configuration for the new, cloud-based system
- Data collection, migration and cleansing
- Working with other subject matter experts to define test criteria and scripts, ensuring the product is appropriately validated against agreed requirements and configuration
- Liaising with vendors to resolve any related queries or issues
- Coordinating system testing and approvals for scheduled upgrades and releases. Developing and maintaining regression test packs
- Supporting all go-live activities by developing detailed project phase plans, including training for all relevant employees and new starters
- Creating new training materials and updating after any changes or system upgrades.
- Creating ad-hoc MI reports as requested
- Liaising with external vendor and IT teams to manage upgrades, patching
What we are looking from you is:
- Previous functional management of of HR systems e.g. HR, payroll, ATS
- Experience of managing integration data feeds between systems
- Experience of managing relationships with key stakeholders across the business as well as suppliers
- Strong, proven analytical skills to understand complex system design and ability to troubleshoot issues
- The confidence and ability to make well-informed business decisions
