We’re hiring on behalf of a growing bank, who are looking to add an experienced Mortgage Administrator to its commercial lending team. This position plays a critical role in supporting clients throughout the loan lifecycle, focusing on the legal and completion processes. Position: Mortgage Administrator (Lending Administrator)
Location: Cardiff city centre, with opportunity to work on a Hybrid basis (2 days per week from home)
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 pa (DOE) + annual bonus of up to 30%

Hours: 35 hour per week contract, between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday
What You’ll Be Doing

Working as an essential part of the loan lifecycle, addressing customer requests and ensuring an excellent service experience.

Liaising with both internal and external parties, including brokers, solicitors and surveyors, to ensure a seamless customer journey

Operating as the main point of contact for post-offer matters, supporting the legal processes through to loan completion.

Working closely with lending colleagues to support application processing, loan servicing, and KYC/customer due diligence; flexibly assisting other business areas as needed to maintain a smooth loan journey for clients.
What You’ll Need

Lending Experience: Proven experience within financial services, particularly in lending / mortgages

Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrate integrity and a strong commitment to serving customers, ensuring fair and positive experiences throughout their journey.

KYC/CDD Knowledge: Familiarity with customer due diligence and Know Your Customer requirements is a plus.
