We’re working with a forward-thinking consultancy firm, currently in a high-growth phase, who needs a proactive, creative marketing manager to take ownership of their marketing journey. Position: Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Executive
Location: Offices in Wales and Exeter – Hybrid working
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 pa
Benefits: 21 days holiday, rising to 25 with service + bank holidays, free onsite parking, healthcare (after probation), pension
The Role
This is a hybrid position blending hands-on delivery with structured performance oversight. You’ll be both a doer and a thinker, someone who can launch high-impact campaigns and also track, measure, and report ROI at board level. You’ll collaborate closely with a technical consulting team, translating complex insights into engaging content without overloading them.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking full ownership of marketing campaigns, from idea to execution to reporting results
- Driving B2B digital marketing activity across social media, SEO, email, and content
- Reporting campaign performance to the board with clear, data-driven insights
- Collaborating with technical experts to create engaging, client-focused messaging
- Building marketing processes that are scalable and effective
- Managing external agencies or freelancers as needed
Must-Haves
- 3+ years’ experience in B2B / professional services marketing manager or marketing executive role
- Strong skills in social media, SEO, email marketing (ActiveCampaign or similar), and content creation
- Proven track record of delivering measurable campaigns end-to-end
- Comfortable with data and reporting at a senior level
- An empathetic communicator with great organisational skills and proactive energy
- Based in or commutable to Exeter (with occasional travel to Wales)
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience marketing to architects, planners, or property developers
- Knowledge of the environmental risk, property, or consultancy sector
- Confidence working with agencies or freelancers
- Familiarity with dashboard/reporting tools
