Part Time Customer Service Administrator - Cardiff

 
We’re hiring on behalf of a growing bank, who are looking to add an experienced customer service administrator to its commercial lending team on a part-time basis. This position plays a critical role in supporting clients throughout the loan / mortgage lifecycle, focusing on the legal and completion processes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about service, thrive in a team-oriented, dynamic environment, and contribute to a fast-paced, customer-centric business.

Position:                            Part-Time Customer Service Administrator (Mortgage / Legal Administrator)
Location:                            Cardiff city centre
Salary:                                 £18,000 to £19,700 pa (full time salary of £30,000 pa) for 21 to 23 hours per week
Benefits:                             25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) rising to 30 with service, private medical / dental and health cashback plans, company pension, discounts on life / critical illness cover + loads more.
Hours:                                  Part time, Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
 
What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Working as an essential part of the loan lifecycle, addressing customer requests and ensuring an excellent service experience.
  2. Liaising with both internal and external parties, including brokers, solicitors and surveyors, to ensure a seamless customer journey
  3. Operating as the main point of contact for post-offer matters, supporting the legal processes through to loan completion.
  4. Working closely with lending colleagues to support application processing, loan servicing, and KYC/customer due diligence; flexibly assisting other business areas as needed to maintain a smooth loan journey for clients.
 
What You’ll Need
  1. Proven experience within financial services or legal environment, lending / mortgage knowledge is highly beneficial
  2. Customer-Centric Approach: Demonstrate integrity and a strong commitment to serving customers, ensuring fair and positive experiences throughout their journey.
  3. KYC/CDD Knowledge: Familiarity with customer due diligence and Know Your Customer requirements is a plus.
  4. Can do attitude! Willing to roll your sleeves up and work as part of a small, close knit team.
