People Administrator - 12m Contract - Pontypridd

People Administrator – 12 Month FTC
Pontypridd
Salary – £25,804 per annum
Full-time, 37 hours per week (Hybrid Working)
Fixed Term Contract – 12 months

If you’re an organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a busy, people-focused
environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative People team where you’ll play
a key role in delivering an excellent HR support service.


About You


• Level 3 CIPD qualification in HR (or equivalent experience in a People/HR role)
• Strong administration and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-
paced team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to
customer service
• Confident IT skills, including Google Docs, Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience using HR Information Systems for data input and reporting
• Able to build positive working relationships across a range of stakeholders
• Proactive, able to use your own initiative and take ownership of your workload
• Comfortable solving routine problems and supporting project work through independent
research
• Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and processes


What You’ll Be Doing (and the impact you’ll make)


• Acting as the first point of contact for general People queries, delivering a responsive
and professional service
• Providing administrative support across the wider People function, including
• Engagement, Learning & Development and People Management processes
• Responding to routine queries and escalating more complex matters to People Advisers
• or Business Partners
• Supporting the organisation and coordination of meetings, events and activities,
including preparing papers and maintaining accurate records
• Taking minutes at departmental, management and trade union meetings
• Maintaining and updating HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Providing financial administration support, including processing invoices and tracking
orders
• Maintaining electronic and manual filing systems
• Supporting Occupational Health administration when required
• Proactively identifying opportunities to improve People processes and increase
efficiency

You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, contributing to smooth People operations
and helping ensure colleagues receive a high-quality service at every touchpoint.
