Sales Manager - Cardiff

We’re hiring on behalf of a high-growth, forward-thinking business who are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing telesales team. This is a pivotal role, ideal for a confident sales leader with a passion for performance, coaching, and delivering results in a data-driven environment.

Position: Sales Manager
Location: Cardiff / Hybrid
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 OTE
Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hour per week

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and motivating the team to maximise the conversion of warm leads into advisor referrals
  • Generating quality referrals
  • Coaching individuals through real-time call listening and regular 1:1s, helping improve sales techniques, objection handling, and conversion behaviours
  • Managing live sales campaigns and using performance metrics to identify coaching needs and drive results
  • Fostering a positive and high-energy team culture focused on collaboration, best practice sharing, and target achievement
  • Supporting the development of Team Leaders and Assistant Managers
  • Leading both in-office and remote agents effectively through strong communication, coaching, and leadership

 

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a high-performing sales or telesales environment
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a team management or performance leadership role
  • Proven ability to coach and manage teams to exceed targets
  • Strong data literacy – able to interpret KPIs and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural leadership style
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns and hybrid (remote + office) teams
  • Resilient, highly organised, and motivated by team success
  • GCSEs (including Maths and English at grade C or above)
